General Information

Russian-normed fire couplers are popular in post-Soviet countries, Cuba and Vietnam .

WINOCEAN Russian couplers and adapters are designed for quick connections with fire engines, 

layflat hoses and hydrant outlets. The couplings are designed, produced and tested in compliance 

with GOST 28352-89 (replacing GOST 2217-66), being popular in use in post-Soviet countries, Cuba and Vietnam.

These are symmetric couplings, joint being created by a quarter turn of the head part. Rated pressure PN10-16 bar, 

and possible for vacuum pressure when suction/delivery washer is applied.  

GOST normed couplings range from DN50-125.

Russian hose couplers are standardized rotating lugged couplings commonly used with layflat hoses for firefighting, 

in acc. to GOST 28352-89, not interchangeable with other lugged fire hose fittings. Multiple hose serration is applied.

Russian thread adapters are standardized lugged couplings commonly used on hydrants and equipments in acc. to 

GOST 28352-89, no mating with other lugged fire hose fittings.
